Isabelle Cunningham — Founder & Director, Alliance for Integrative Wellbeing
For more than 20 years, I have trained people to work in holistic and complementary wellbeing, following two decades as a practitioner myself.
During that time, I have also licensed my education programs internationally, helping establish and support holistic training organisations across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Scotland, Ireland, the United States, Canada, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates.
This has given me a unique perspective — not only on the experience of practitioners, but on the challenges faced by the organisations that train them.
I’ve come to believe that one of the greatest barriers to the growth of our field is still public understanding.
Holistic and complementary approaches are too often portrayed as being in conflict with conventional medicine, or dismissed as less credible or simply “woo-woo”.
This affects practitioners and training providers alike.
It’s one of the reasons I created the Alliance for Integrative Wellbeing.
I believe we can change that conversation — not by positioning ourselves against conventional healthcare, but by building greater understanding of how different approaches can appropriately contribute to whole-person wellbeing.
Greater understanding means greater confidence, more informed choices and a stronger future for practitioners and the organisations that train them.

There are two ways to become an AIW Training Provider Member.
Choose to join today and begin accessing your Training Provider Member benefits immediately, or take part in our limited Inaugural Training Provider Program and earn your first 12 months of membership by helping us grow the AIW practitioner community.

When practitioners join AIW, we ask them where they completed their training, so we'll keep track for you.

As we establish AIW and welcome our first Training Provider Members, we're offering training organisations a special opportunity to become part of the Alliance.
Register your organisation for our Inaugural Training Provider Program and introduce AIW Practitioner Membership to your graduates and practitioner community.
We'll send you an AIW Referral Pack with information and ready-to-use resources to help you introduce the Alliance and the benefits of Practitioner Membership to your community.
When five practitioners who have trained with your organisation become qualifying AIW Practitioner Members, we'll welcome your organisation as an AIW Training Provider Member with your first 12 months of membership complimentary.
We'll keep track of your qualifying members and let you know when you've reached five.
Already have graduates who are AIW members?
Where we can identify your organisation from their membership information, we'll count those members towards your five too.
Once you reach five, your complimentary 12-month membership begins and you'll receive access to all Training Provider Member benefits.

*Annual and Founding Lifetime Practitioner Memberships count immediately. Practitioners on our $22 monthly membership option become qualifying members after three consecutive months of paid membership.
